Training Opportunities

September 8th - 9th, 2008
MapInfo for Mineral Exploration: 2-Day course concentrating on the basics of MapInfo. Students will partake in a variety of exercises designed to give them a running start in using MapInfo. Topics include (but are not limited to) The Map Window, The Layout Window, Queries and Selections, Thematic Mapping,  and etc.

Requirements: Students must have their own laptop preferably with MapInfo installed. (MapInfo software can be purchased through DIGEOS.) Otherwise, Digeos will provide the student with a trial version of the software.

Prerequisites: Basic Knowledge of Mapping and Data Applications.
